At Ardmel, on top of manufacturing class leading seam sealing machines, we also produce the regular consumables required for seam sealing machines, namely the seam sealing tape and adhesives, that go with them.

Made in the UK at our headquarters in Glenrothes, Fife, we have a wide range of standard seam sealing tapes and adhesives which are suitable for a wide range of specification – mean you can almost always find the right option for your needs. Whether that be a transparent seam sealing tape needed for waterproofing a rain jacket or a seam sealing tape with stretch properties ideal for Lycra swimwear; we have got something for you.

If you’re not sure of the best tape for your product, our expert team of engineers are on hand to help – we can take samples of your requested material and conduct various tests using our range of tapes and adhesives to find the perfect match and production settings for applying the tapes.

Bespoke Tapes

If we do not have the perfect ‘off the shelf’ solution for your needs, we are also able to take your fabric and combine this with one of our adhesives to make a custom/bespoke tape specially for your product needs.
